This web site is dedicated to the conservation and management of forest birds in the Laurentian Mixed Forest Ecoregion of the Western Great Lakes Basin. Funding for this project is provided by the Great Lakes National Program Office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Contributors include scientists from the Cofrin Arboretum Center for Biodiversity at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, the Natural Resources Research Institute at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and the Great Lakes Regional Office of The Nature Conservancy.
