Learn What You've Earned
As a veteran or veteran's dependent, you may be entitled to educational benefits.
You can use these benefits while pursuing a course of study at UW-Green Bay. In order to be eligible for full-time allotments, you must be enrolled for 12 credits in a semester, and 24 credits in the academic year. Summer session allotments are determined by class dates or length of class and number of credits.

Dependents of veterans may be eligible for up to 45 months of education benefits.
College Evaluation Tools
Choosing a college isn't a decision to make lightly. Here are some tools to assist you in evaluating a potential college or university:
- The College Scorecard is a planning tool and resource to help students and families evaluate options in selecting a school.
- The College Navigator is a consumer tool that provides school information, including tuition and fees, retention and graduation rates, use of financial aid, student loan default rates and features a cost calculator and school comparison tool.
- The Paying for College webpage can be used to enter the names of up to three schools and receive detailed financial information.
- Use our Estimated Cost of Attendance tool to plan for your financial future if you decide to attend UW-Green Bay.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
When you submit the FAFSA, you’ll be considered for grants, loans and work study so you can fund your college education. Experienced staff can assist you in the process of applying for financial aid and provide you with information to help you make thoughtful decisions.
