Humanities Internships
Begin to Discover Your Path
Internships are the perfect way to try out your chosen career; we'd shake on it!
As a part of the humanities program, you’ll build skills that translate to a variety of careers—but what career will you choose? To determine your path, you can sample different careers by getting an internship. The experience you gain during an internship further solidifies your career by improving future professional prospects and developing skills to help you stand out.
Internships for Credit
Generally, internships involve about 50 hours of field work for each credit, so about 150 hours for a three-credit internship; this is about 10 hours per week during a regular semester.
Requirements & Expectations
To be considered for an internship you should:
- Have at least a 2.5 GPA
- Be able to intern at least 10-12 hours a week (for most 3-credit internships)
- Have a résumé description of past work experience
Internships are to follow these expectations:
Internship Grading
