The BHTP offers a variety of self-paced, online courses. These online courses are available for free to BHTP full and partial member counties and tribes, as well as contract providers. You'll be tested throughout the courses through a series of quiz questions. Upon successful completion of a course, we'll provide a certificate of continuing education hours.
Orientation Courses
Orientation courses are designed for new workers to fulfill requirements as provided by the State of Wisconsin.
Crisis Intervention Services
Laying the foundation of skills and knowledge needed to provide DHS 34 crisis intervention services.

Comprehensive Community Services (CCS)
Learn the fundamental concepts of providing psychosocial rehabilitation through a DHS 36 CCS program.

Which Course is Right for You?
Register for one orientation course only. If you work in more than one program, please register for the course that fits your primary role, and have your supervisor contact us to give you access to supplemental course material. Check with your supervisor regarding which course is needed.
Course Fees
There are no registration fees for BHTP full and partial member agencies or their confirmed contract vendors. Simply residing in a member county does not provide access to free registration. Nonmembers pay the fee listed for each course.
Registration
You can register for one course at a time and must complete that course before registering for another. Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation email with detailed instructions to self-enroll in the course in Canvas. If you have not received instructions, please contact us.
Coursework Not Showing Up?
Please ensure you have fully completed all the prior coursework, including quizzes. Make sure you are using Google Chrome as your web browser and have flash enabled on your computer. If the issue persists after checking your coursework, checking the browser and contacting your IT department, please contact us.
Quizzes Not Showing Up?
You must receive a minimum score of 80% to progress onto the next module or quiz. If further modules and quizzes are not showing up for you, please double check your quiz scores in Grades.
Receive a Certificate!
When you have successfully completed the course, a certificate will be uploaded to your final assignment in Canvas within two weeks.
