UW-Green Bay celebrates Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month alongside the National Hispanic Heritage Month period from September 15 through October 15. During this timeframe, a team of campus departments and students collaborate to offer a variety of programs which celebrate and recognize the history, culture, contributions and presence of Hispanic/Latinx people in the United States and our community.

Caminata de Aves - Celebrando la Semana de Conservación Latina // Bird WalkCelebrating Latino Conservation Week*

In celebration of Latino Conservation Week (September 14-22), join us for a guided bilingual bird walk (Spanish/English), where you’ll learn about and identify local birds at the Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve! Family friendly activities will follow the walk. Open to all ages, no experience is necessary. Please bring binoculars if you have them. Binoculars will be available. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring water. Bathrooms will be available on site. 

This event is weather dependent. Registered participants will be notified via email in the event of cancellation due to weather.
