Parking Permits
Our online permit portal offers a way to buy your parking permits online. This portal is NOT meant for students with in-person classes because you likely already paid for a permit through student fees. Only those who have confirmed they don't have a permit should use this process. You may NOT pre-buy a semester permit, and it's only valid for the current semester. For example, you can't buy both the fall and spring semester permit in August; you must purchase only the fall semester. Then, purchase the spring semester parking permit in January.
Parking permit holders MUST provide their correct license plate information either entering it in their SIS account or faculty/staff portal before they use parking services. The few individuals who don't have access to one of those accounts should contact the Student Billing Resources Office for manual entry.
- Your permit or pay-by-app parking associates to your vehicle license plate number and is how parking rights are validated.
- Permits can associate to multiple vehicles/license plates, but only one of those vehicles may be present using parking services at the same time.
- License Plate Recognition cameras are used for parking enforcement.
- Permit and pay-by-app rights holders are solely responsible for the accuracy of vehicle plate information within the system.
- Plates must be mounted in compliance with Wis. Stats §341.15. Any vehicle registration plates that aren't attached to the "front" or "rear" of the vehicle (i.e. displayed on the dash), fictitious/decorative/vanity plates or plates that are damaged, sun faded, worn or illegible due to debris are not acceptable and must be corrected.
- Vehicles issued only one plate, regardless of State of issuance, are not exempt and must be parked with the plate facing the travel portion of the parking lot.
Students
Log into SIS to check your parking permit status before purchasing a permit. In-person students likely already have a permit. If you see a parking permit charge (see below image), you have already have a parking permit.
DO NOT BUY A PERMIT UNLESS YOU HAVE CONFIRMED YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE.
A parking permit fee is automatically applied to your student account each semester you attend an in-person class. You will see this fee added in at the time other upcoming term fees are applied.
Early Arrival
If you are arriving before the fall semester begins, like athletes or residence life employees (RAs), you may be required to purchase a summer permit unless you have a permit from the prior semester based on the Student Parking Permit Schedule. If you begin using parking services prior to them becoming effect, you may receive a citation.
How to Opt Out
If you do not use parking services, you can easily opt out though an option on your SIS account, which removes the permit fee.
If you opt out and later decide to purchase a permit, visit Student Billing Resources.
Online Students
When you transition from in-person to online only, the system anticipates you will no longer physically be present on campus and removes the parking permit fee. This removes your parking permit and privileges. If you still want a parking permit for campus, you must purchase one through our online portal or at the Student Billing Resources Office (920) 465-2224, studentbilling@uwgb.edu.

Adding Multiple Plates
If you have access to multiple cars our parking system can accommodate that. Simply add all the plates for the vehicles you have access to your parking permit. Just remember, the permit to parked car ratio is 1:1, meaning only one parked car can use a permit at any given time.

Faculty
If you're a faculty or staff member, ensure that you haven't enrolled in payroll deduction and that you don't already possess a permit. Verify your parking permit status before buying a permit online.
Faculty, staff and all others who are on campus may purchase permits online or through the Student Billing Resources office at any time. Only full-time faculty and staff have the option to enroll in payroll deduction in the fall of every year, which deducts a small amount from your payroll throughout the 9-month academic year.
There are NO refunds for Full Time Employees who use payroll deduction. The payments are deducted during the 9-month academic year, and if an employee stops receiving paychecks there are no deductions made.
Ad Hoc, Associate Lecturer, LTE's and those who work on campus but are not employed by UW-Green Bay must go to the Student Billing Resources to purchase their permit.

Expectant Mother Parking – Campus and Residence Life
The expectant mother designated parking locations are designed to aid expectant mothers or individuals accompanied by small children in accessing the campus and their vehicles.
- Both male and female permit holders may qualify and request for this privilege.
- UW-Green Bay defines a "small child" as any child under the age of 5.
- To help prevent abuse of the privilege we are requiring those wishing to use the designated parking locations to apply for and be granted a special parking privilege prior to use.
- There is no guarantee that an expectant mother stall will be available as the use of the stalls are on a first come basis. If a permit holder has been granted these privileges, but arrives to find all those designated stalls in use, they must use an alternate legal parking location. Parking "next to" to "by" a Expectant Mother/Small Children stall is not an acceptable way to use this permit.
- A valid parking permit is required to obtain an expectant mother permit.
