The Office of Marketing and University Communication offers a photography internship or student employment opportunity. Students in this position can expect a wide variety of assignments for Inside magazine and website, various print and online newsletters including admission pieces, and online photoblogs. A high degree of professionalism is expected as assignments may include campus-community receptions.

Work Schedule:
7-10 hours/week. Work schedule to be decided by student and adviser. Hours may include evenings and weekends.
Wage:
Compensation in the fall semester comprises a salary of $10-12 per hour and you may also receive three credits for internship work.
Qualifications:
Applicant must have artistic skills in photography. Computer knowledge (Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom) is highly recommended. All applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and must be enrolled in at least 6 undergraduate or 5 graduate credits and must have at least 2 semesters remaining to apply.

Scope of Responsibilities:
The Photography Intern is responsible for creation and editing images of campus events and campus life. The photography intern will be expected to complete tasks assigned and other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and the Campus Photographer. Intern must be able to work independently in a wide range of environments. Evening and weekend work may be required.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and create high-quality photographs of people, scenes and events at UW-Green Bay.
- Consult with communication/marketing clients (most often Advancement, Alumni, Admissions, Chancellor’s Office) to understand photographic objectives.
- Produce images in compliance with the goals and mission of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and the established image of the organization.
- Coordinate a work project schedule to efficiently balance individual workload.
- Operate DSLR/Mirrorless camera.
- Operate software (Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom).
- Completion of other duties assigned by the Director of Marketing and Campus Photographer.
