Housing Mailroom
Your Mail
Delivered
Mail service is part and parcel of campus living.
The housing mailroom houses a mailbox—called a campus box—for each student living on campus. Returning residents typically keep the same campus box number throughout their stay in campus housing and it is very important that all mail and packages delivered to the student mailroom are addressed properly.
Mailroom Hours
United States mail is sorted and delivered to campus boxes each weekday and packages can be picked up from the mailroom window during mailroom hours. The mailroom will email students, using their UW-Green Bay email, that a package is ready for pick up. Our housing mailroom staff is happy to assist with all mail, parcel or campus mailbox related questions.

About Your Campus Box
Each student living on campus is assigned a campus box for their incoming mail. It works like a post office box. It's a tiny locker that your mail is sorted into. Returning residents typically keep the same campus box number throughout their stay in campus housing and it is very important that all mail and packages delivered to the student mailroom are addressed properly.
Your Box Number & Combination
Log in to the Housing Hub at any time to find your campus box number and combination under your room assignment information. Campus box numbers are typically the same for the entire time you live on campus, but building addresses may change. We are unable to release a student's address to other individuals.
How to Open Your Campus Box
Your campus mailbox is secured with a combination lock. Once you know your campus box number and combination, follow these steps to open it:
- Turn dial to the left four turns and stop at the first number
- Turn dial to the right, passing first number one time and stopping at the second number
- Turn dial to the left and stop at the third number
- Turn dial to the right to open mailbox lock

Mail Delivery & Pick-Up

Mail Forwarding
After you move out, your mail is forwarded to the address listed in SIS for one month after your departure date. More information about changing your mailing address is found in SIS help. Magazines, newspapers, and packages will not be forwarded. It is your responsibility to notify the companies that send you mail of your address change.
Mass Mailings to Students
Only University or Housing and Residential Education activities and programs may be advertised in mass mailings to student mailboxes. All mailings must clearly indicate that they are sponsored by a student organization or campus office and must be approved by Housing and Residential Education. Members of the student organization or campus office will need to stuff the mailboxes themselves during an appointed time set up through Housing & Residential Education. Please call 920-465-2040 for more information.
Postage Due
If mail received is short on postage, you will receive a "postage due" form and need to pay the specified amount to receive the mail. This can be taken care of at the mailroom window during mailroom hours.

Mail with proper postage, including packages being sent, can be dropped off at the locations listed below. The University Union Ticketing and Information Center sells postage.
