Summer Aid
You need to register for summer classes first in order to be considered for summer aid. If you meet the eligibility criteria below, you will be notified through your campus email to complete the “Summer Federal Direct Loan Request” in SIS to be considered for Federal Direct Loans in the summer session. The form will be found under the “To Do List” in your Student Services Center.
Please note: The 2024-2025 FAFSA delay may impact the timing of summer aid offers. We are working to appropriately accommodate students who have registered for summer classes, completed the appropriate FAFSA and are aid eligible.
Eligibility for Summer Aid
You are eligible for summer aid if:
- You are a UW-Green Bay, degree-seeking student.
- You have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the upcoming academic year.
- You are requesting Federal Direct Loan. You must be enrolled half time in SIS in order for the Financial Aid Office to offer you Direct Loan funding for the summer (6 credits for undergraduates, 5 for graduates).
Undergraduate students interested in Summer Pell Grant only do NOT have to submit additional information to the Financial Aid Office. We will offer aid based upon your enrollment.
