"The program offered a manner of inclusion and understanding that I had not experienced in the years before. In a way, it reserved a space at the forefront where my voice could finally be heard. This program provided me with the tools—and the means—necessary to not only solidify my sense of self, but to better understand and serve the multi-faceted individuals that make up our diverse communities."
