Open & Available 24/7
Your safety is our top priority. We have two goals: security and education.
We’re here to help you every day—not just when something goes wrong. Through community-based policing and educational efforts, we work closely with students and staff to prevent problems like crime and social issues before they start. If a crime does happen, we focus on education to help stop it from happening again. We pride ourselves in being a highly trained team, with many of our officers having advanced degrees and everyone receiving occupational training that exceeds state requirements. You can feel confident knowing we're here to keep your campus safe and secure.
Call 911 or 2300
If this is an emergency, call 911. University police, fire and rescue personnel will be dispatched to you. If there is no emergency, but you still need an officer, contact 2300, or 920-465-2300.
Report Crimes
University Police are always available to protect and assist when crimes occur. When you report crimes, you help keep our campus safe.
Be Prepared
Emergencies aren't just about the incidents themselves. They're also about preparedness. University Police have procedures in place to protect our community.
Park Responsibly
Our office is responsible for regulating parking on campus, making sure it’s accessible and available for our community.
Involved On Campus
From volleyball to self-defense classes, you'll get to know campus officers.
Getting to know the UW-Green Bay police isn’t just about emergencies—we're part of your campus experience. You’ll see us around, whether we’re playing bags, tossing a volleyball or leading self-defense classes to help you stay safe. Stop by our office anytime to chat and get to know our team. We're here as a resource for you, no matter what you need.
Support Across Campus
We work together with other services throughout the university to promote safety and security.
Clery Act
To keep you informed, we report campus crime data, support victims of violence and outline the policies and procedures that improve campus safety.
Title IX
Since 1972, Title IX provides protection from discrimination based on sex, gender and gender identification.
Sexual Assault
The University Police work closely with the Wellness Center to support sexual assault survivors. But Wellness Center staff can’t be on campus 24/7. If you need support, we offer a soft interview room where you can feel safe and comforted.
Inclement Weather Policy
There's snow place like home. Be prepared if and when inclement weather occurs on campus by viewing UW-Green Bay's policy.
Lost & Found
There are several departments throughout campus that offer lost and found services.
Dean of Students
The Dean of Students Office exists for our students. If you have a personal concern, like the death of a family member, you can find advocacy and support.
